About

Two halves of the same job.

I began my career as an art director, which is still how I see a shoot: the strategy first, then the casting, the location, the styling, the shot list — and what each frame has to do once it leaves the set. Photography came out of that, not the other way around.

It means I can take a season from concept to delivered files. I direct and produce the shoot, shoot it, make the selects, retouch, and hand over imagery sized for site, email, paid and social. For a small brand that's one person instead of four, and one point of view instead of a committee.

I've spent most of my career working inside marketing teams, so I'm fluent in the unglamorous half — deadlines, asset lists, what the ecommerce team actually needs by Friday. I like that half. It's why the creative survives contact with the calendar.

Based in Los Angeles, available to travel. Currently taking on commissions, and always open to test shoots and collaborations with people whose work I admire.
